Every child is precious, every child is Amoli

Our Approach

We conduct informative and interactive sessions for children of primary classes. The hour long session includes pictorial representations of emotions and private body parts. We believe that the children should know how to judge a safe and an unsafe situation and take preventive steps. We believe in teaching the child about reporting to stop repeat of the heinous crime. The children are prone to get scared and take our teachings in an extreme sense. This is why we play games and tell them stories in order to make them sympathetic towards the topic. We play, act and shout along with them inducing in them a sense of belongingness and connectivity which makes them catch up on the concept fast and steady. Slogans are recited so that each one is imprinted with the fact that ‘I am unique and have full right on my body’.

Covid - 19

Combating child sexual abuse is something that has been at the forefront of Amoli since its inception. The pandemic never held us back in our efforts to confront CSA, instead it enabled us to explore a virtual channel to educate the children of this country.
The pandemic never stopped us, or our efforts to tackle CSA in this country, which incidentally was on the rise as the country was on a lockdown. In the last six months, Amoli Trust has successfully conducted numerous virtual sessions with schools from all over the country – over “x” children from schools belonging to Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh have been impacted by the sessions taken by us.
In addition to the conducting online sessions, Amoli has also been involved with training its volunteers through informative webinars on topics related to CSA. Community sessions for parents and teachers have also been held successfully in the last six months. Adding to these, our volunteers have conducted research on the statistics on CSA in India and have written a plethora of content on the same. The content is available in the form of blogs on our website.
Although it was challenging to replicate physical sessions into online ones, the collective enthusiasm of our volunteers enabled us to do so. The pandemic might have restricted us to our homes but in no way has it deterred us from our goal of fighting CSA in India. Contact us today to conduct a session as we aim to create a CSA free society!

Campaigns

When you are aware, you dare

Amoli has initiated campaigns to create awareness regarding crimes against children and provide the populace a way to bring out a change in the society at an individual level. The campaigns focus on issues such as spreading awareness about CSA(Child Sexual Abuse) by influencing child-friendly policies and bringing the communities together to implement them. Our campaigns have always involved the youth, our as we believe that their zeal and energy will reflect on the children, helping them thrive for safety and strength.
